Subject: Welcome to the Fifth District Northern Region of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.

The dedicated 2600 members (men and women) of the Fifth District Northern Region of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary provide thousands of volunteer hours to:
        1.      Promote and improve Recreational Boating Safety
        2.      Support Coast Guard maritime security efforts; and
        3.      Support the Coast Guard's operational, administrative and
                 logistical requirements.

Our area of responsibility includes the State of Delaware, the southern half of New Jersey, and central and eastern Pennsylvania.

From Boating Safety Classes in your community, Vessel Safety Checks at your marina, to Search and Rescue on the waterways, to serving as a Watchstander at a Coast Guard Station, you will find the Auxiliary supporting the U.S. Coast Guard in protecting America’s Maritime heritage and security.

If  you are a U.S. citizen and 17 years of age or older you can join the Auxiliary and enjoy the benefits and fellowship of belonging to America's premier volunteer organization that is tied directly to the U.S. Coast Guard.
