AUXLAM-A at DTRAIN 01/08/2019
Auxiliary Leadership and Management Course (AUXLAM-A)

AUXLAM-A will be presented during the District Conference at the Crown Plaza, Reading, Pennsylvania on March 8-10, 2019.

Registration is now open to all interested members.

The Auxiliary Leadership and Management Course (AUXLAM) is a leadership and management course for flotilla level elected and staff leaders focused on responsibilities and management skills. It lays the foundation for all leadership skills necessary to successful leadership in the Coast Guard and the Auxiliary. This is a facilitated and interactive course dealing with Self Awareness, Motivation, Strategic Leadership, Team Building, Ethics, Conflict Management and Performance Problem Solving. The AUXLAM course is presented in two parts: A and B. Members may take the A or B course in any sequence.

5NR Site Additions and Fixes 11/22/2018
New Additions to the site are the Prologue and Pledge for New Members in the New Members section. Also added is the Elected and Appointed Officers Prologue and Pledge has been added to Policies and Manuals section. ALL OPERATIONS TEAM Members and prospective team members MUST take the new Risk Assessement class in AUXLMS. All members that have not taken the class by August 31,2018 will go into reyr. This was communicated twice during the week of August 5th from 5NR Operations team titled CRITICAL Operations Requirements Update. If you did not get the emails, it is because you were not in AuxOfficer as a current Operations team member. If you feel that was in error, please email DSO-CS DSO-CS Rick Taylor

Subj: Revision to Sign-In Guidelines for Auxiliary Personnel at Sector Delaware Bay

The following sign-in guidelines for Auxiliary Personnel, at Sector Delaware Bay, have been revised and are now in effect. Auxiliary Personnel who come to the base, who DO NOT have a CAC card or a Swipe Card granting them access to the base, will still be required to show their ID and sign in. If they are in Uniform NO Visitor badge will be issues. However, if they are in civilian clothes they are required to wear a visitor's badge.
